Spring Sports End With Much Success

Knights Fast Pitch started out hot on Friday with two big wins, sixteen to two over South Puget Sound and ten to one against Shoreline.

Bri Compton pitched both wins for the Knights, the Knights collected thirty hits in the two games. Miranda Rosebrook, Amanda TreVelde, Emma Winckler and Robin James all had home runs in the first game. On day two, the Knights had two close games to be eliminated from the tournament, losing to Walla Walla zero to one and Olympic zero to two in game two.
It was a great season for our Knight Fastpitch players who took 5th at the NWAACC tournament. They overcame a season of numerous injuries and other issues to finish first in the East Region for the fourth time in a row. The team carry's an overall GPA of 3.3. Several of our Sophomore players are going on to continue their education and playing careers at four year institutions. You, we have a lot to be proud of for what you've accomplished this year, congratulations. You had a great run and there are a lot of other players, coaches, parents and institutions who wish they could have been as successful as you have been

Baseballs season also ended at the Regional playoffs. The Knights lost their first game to Treasure Valley one to two, won their second game against Blue Mountain six to one and lost on Saturday to Treasure Valley again seven tow zero to end their chances for a return to the NWAACC championships. Our Knights Baseball team also had a great season. For a team that was dominated by freshmen they were very competitive, finishing second in the East Region and having another winning season as well.
